The GCAA summer 2008 baseball league has about 60 teams competing in it this season. The league continues to grow in popularity. This league is open to all. Its great fun and zero pressure. This league is NOT intended for Travel teams. All teams should be intramural type teams, any travel teams should look to join more competitive leagues. Our 9/10 + 11/12 divisions are WOOD bat divisions. Only Little League approved 2 1/4" bats are allowed. For more information email the GCAA
Summer baseball provides children a chance to play during the summer months of July and August. Leagues are separated into four age groups of 8, 9/10, 11/12 and 13/15 year olds (age as of 4/30/08). We strive to schedule two games per week on weekday evenings (depending upon field availability) between Garden City teams and teams from other local towns. The 2008 season start date is July 14th and the season will run until mid August. Team sizes are larger because of player participation in other summer activities (camps, vacations, etc.).
